In the three and a half year period between January 2012 and June 2015, the White Plains Police Department produced 139 use of force reports (equivalent to one per five officers annually) involving 138 distinct persons. Of the 138 individuals against whom forced was used, 43% were black, 30% were white, and 25% were Hispanic. 81% were men, and 72% were aged 35 or under.
Seventy-seven of 138 use of force subjects (56%) were reported to have sustained injuries, none of which were fatal.
